The Summer School « Nanocrystals in interaction with their Environment » (« ALSACE 2019 ») will take place from 24 to 28 June 2019 in Mittelwihr (Haut Rhin, Grand Est Region, France)

This school covers optical/electrical/magnetic properties, methods of growth and organization (physical and chemical routes), and experimental techniques for investigating nanocrystals in interaction with their environment.
The following major topics will be addressed in the form of lectures and practical works, given in English:
- Nanocrystals / ligands-doping-impurity coupling
- Nanocrystals coupled to nanostructures
- Growth and self-ordering of nanocrystals
- Multifunctional and Hybrid Nanomaterials
- Experimental techniques to investigate nanomaterials interacting with their environment
